Architectural, decorative cladding for a new addition to the Guardhouse at Rideau Hall, official residence of Canada’s Governor General. Working with local architects, FLUXWORX was contacted to provide a cladding along both sides of the new building. The pattern was specified by the architect and FLUXWORX found a way to make it a reality. Custom mounting solutions were designed, tested, and ultimately machined from billet aluminum blanks. The screens themselves were Water-Jet cut from .250” aluminum sheets; and bespoke aluminum bolts were machined for the mounting system so the entirety could be anodized a beautiful architectural bronze.
