The Canadian Tire Centre and Chek Point Restaurant required an eye-catching entry to match the stunning new restaurant and sports-bar located therein. Working with the Montreal-based architects and Ottawa-based interior designers; FLUXWORX was a natural fit to create and sort out how to construct an entry that could not fully be drawn using conventional two-dimensional drawing methods. Being angled on the X, Y and Z axis required FLUXWORX to fully construct the entry in 3D using SolidWorks. This allowed for an analysis of each structural member interaction, as well as how the sheet-steel would drape over the skeletal frame. To make the entry even more eye-catching, the interior surfaces are back-lit with LED lighting, casting an impressive glow that is impossible to miss.
